Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Consultant - Environmental Compliance & Permitting to join our Dublin, Cork or Belfast offices with a flexible hybrid working model. You will lead environmental licensing and compliance projects across Ireland, collaborating with our environmental, engineering, sustainability and planning teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• Experience in industrial or consultancy environments.
• Proven track record in licensing and compliance services.
• Extensive knowledge of Irish and European environmental legislation.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver environmental licensing, permitting and advisory projects.
• Conduct environmental audits and site inspections.
• Identify risks and develop corrective actions.
• Prepare and review technical reports and regulatory submissions.
• Manage projects with scope, programme, budget, and client communications.
• Liaise with clients, the EPA and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams for integrated solutions.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Support proposals and business development.
