Job summary

GCS Recruitment is looking for a Senior IP Network Engineer to design and deliver secure and scalable enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN, Data Centre, and Wireless environments in Dublin.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in networking technologies and show proven experience with Cisco and Fortinet products. This role requires both leadership and technical competencies to guide projects to successful completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in enterprise network design and implementation.
• Ability to lead technical deployments and migrations.

Responsibilities

• Produce design and implementation documentation.
• Lead network and security deployments, migrations and cutovers.
• Work with architects, project managers and security teams.
• Provide technical consultancy throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills

Cisco Routing & Switching (Catalyst, Nexus, ACI)

BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRFs, VLANs, QoS, VXLAN, HSRP/VRRP

Enterprise LAN, WAN and Data Centre design and implementation

Fortinet Firewalls (FortiGate HA, VPNs, NAT, IPS, SSL Inspection, Segmentation)

FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer

Cisco Wireless (9800 WLCs, APs, 802.1X, RF Design)

F5 BIG-IP LTM and Load Balancing

Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and troubleshooting skills

Education

CCNP or equivalent experience

Relevant security and application delivery certifications
