Job summary

Jobtailor in Galway seeks an experienced RPM leader to provide direction to RPM Project Managers and Operations teams, directing tactical and strategic activities that support the ICT RPM Portfolio in a regulated environment.

You will lead, grow and motivate a high-calibre RPM team, coach direct reports, attract and retain talent, and ensure governance, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Third Level 8 Degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
• 7+ years relevant experience with 5+ years in management; or advanced degree with 5+ years relevant experience and 5+ years management.
• Excellent team building, communication, people management and leadership skills.
• Strong proven track record in project management in a regulated environment.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability and experience with lean/six sigma tools.
• Dynamic team player and leader capable of cross-functional global collaboration.
• Good interpersonal skills with enthusiasm and motivation to develop cross-functional relationships.
• Displays excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to RPM Project Managers and Operations team members.
• Ensure the implementation of tactical and strategic activities supporting the ICT RPM Portfolio.
• Lead, grow and motivate a highly talented, diverse, world-class performance RPM team.
• Direct, develop, and coach the RPM team including project managers.
• Attract and retain talent in line with business need.
• Ensure that the RPM team are motivated and engaged through regular coaching and performance acceleration.
• Drive functional excellence in developing and sharing best practices across the team.
• Collaborate with RPM project teams to establish objectives and evaluate progress of direct reports and the RPM team.
• Generate novel and unique solutions to both project and organizational challenges.
• Develop harmonious working relations with other functions.
• Ensure effective stakeholder management and establish governance processes for communication and escalation.
• Manage RPM Projects to solve problems and implement improvements with well-defined plans and delivery methodologies.
