Our client is a fast-growing manufacturer and distributor of chemicals and related services, supporting a diverse range of industrial sectors across Ireland and the UK. The business has established a strong market reputation for technical expertise, product quality, and customer service.

As part of its continued growth, our client is seeking to appoint a Director of Engineering to join the senior leadership team. Reporting to the Group CEO, the Director of Engineering will lead engineering, capital project delivery, applications, R&D, and laboratory services, while building the technical capability required to support its long-term strategic ambitions.

This role will be central to strengthening project governance, developing technical standards, deepening sector expertise, and supporting the delivery of differentiated, customer-focused technical solutions. The successful candidate will also ensure complex capital projects are delivered safely on time and within budget, while enhancing the Group’s reputation for technical excellence.

Candidates should bring significant leadership experience in industrial manufacturing, process engineering, or engineered solutions, together with a strong track record across engineering, project delivery, and technical leadership. They will combine strategic and commercial judgement with strong execution capability, and the credibility to lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams across the organisation.
