Job summary

Adecco Portugal in Dublin 24 is seeking a Senior Manager (Software Engineering/Core Custody) to lead a portfolio of critical applications and engineering teams. The role focuses on delivering cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements, with close collaboration with product owners, architects, and peers.

You will translate vision into backlogs, drive a shared roadmap, mentor high performers, and ensure modern engineering practices such as IaC, CI/CD, and containerization are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience building scalable, secure web applications.
• Proven track record of managing software engineering teams.
• Experience hiring, motivating and retaining talent.
• Experience managing remote associates.
• Frontend and backend development background.
• Understanding of microservices and cloud deployments.
• Experience with IaC, test automation, CI/CD and containerization.
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Promotes engineering best practices and architectural standards.
• Exceptionally strong mentoring and coaching abilities.
