Job summary

JJ Rhatigan & Company in Galway seeks a Senior Engineer to join our award-winning team on multi-million-euro projects. The role focuses on buildability reviews, RFI management, and on-site engineering leadership to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

You will coordinate with design teams, manage submissions and setting-out, and supervise site staff to maintain programme alignment. This full-time position offers exposure to flagship Irish/UK projects and a collaborative working

Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale construction sites.
• Proven ability to lead site engineering teams.
• Strong grasp of QA/QC and safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Review design for buildability and generate issue list.
• Coordinate with design team to ensure information flow.
• Manage RFI schedules and reporting to project management.
• Lead setting-out and dimensional control on site.
• Oversee inspections and ITPs to meet programme.
• Coordinate temporary works and punch list closure.
• Participate in weekly management meetings and site diaries.
