Job summary

Global Professional Consultants Ireland is seeking a Senior Engineer to work on a Pharmaceutical Project in Cork. The successful candidate will verify calculations, manage design documents, and collaborate with various stakeholders while overseeing contractors and ensuring health and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a third level qualification in Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience. The compensation package includes a salary between €85k-€90k, a company van, performance bonus, pension, and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a third level qualification in Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience as a senior engineer or section manager on building projects.
• Proficiency in Engineers Level, EDM/Total Station, AutoCad, and GPS.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of calculations in plans, drawings, and quantities.
• Manage and interpret contract design documents from the client or architect.

Senior Engineer

A Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking a Senior Engineer to work on a Pharmaceutical Project in Cork.

Duties

• Verify the accuracy of calculations in plans, drawings, and quantities.
• Manage and interpret contract design documents from the client or architect.
• Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the project workforce.
• Supervise and monitor ground works and civil engineering contractors.
• Resolve unforeseen technical difficulties and address other emerging problems.
• Oversee health and safety matters on site, including quality management and BCAR coordination.

Requirements

• Third level qualification in Engineering.
• 2+ Years of experience as a senior engineer or section manager on building projects.
• Proficiency in use of Engineers Level, EDM/Total Station, AutoCad, GPS.
