Job summary

Engage People Recruitment in Ireland is seeking a pricing and valuation specialist for its international energy trading business. You will work with trading and origination teams to price contracts, assess risk and understand value behind each deal in a hybrid Dublin/London setting.

The role requires strong energy market experience, plus solid skills in valuation, modelling and analytics (Excel, Python, SQL).

Qualifications

• Strong energy market experience, with a background in trading, trading risk, pricing or structuring.
• Commercial acumen - you understand what drives a deal's value, where the risks sit and how contract terms affect the outcome.
• A solid grasp of valuation concepts and risk management.
• Knowledge of power markets, ideally in Ireland and/or Great Britain.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using Excel, Python or SQL.
• Clear communication and the confidence to explain your thinking to trading teams and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities
