Job summary

ElectroRoute in Dublin/London is seeking a Pricing and Structuring Analyst to price energy contracts across Ireland, GB, and Europe, using quantitative methods to value opportunities and manage risk.

You will develop and enhance pricing models, work with Origination and Trading, and contribute to portfolio construction with strong numerical and communication skills. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment and clear path for growth.

Qualifications

• Intermediate-level energy market experience in trading, pricing/structuring, trading risk or market analytics.
• Commercial understanding of the power market, ideally within Great Britain and/or Ireland.
• Strong numerical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with valuation techniques (e.g. cash flow modelling) and/or risk quantification (e.g. scenario and sensitivity analysis).
• Experience performing quantitative and statistical analysis on large datasets, using Excel, SQL, or Python, to provide commercial insights.
• Track record of managing and delivering multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining accuracy of output and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Independently pricing energy contracts across all activity sets, using quantitative methods to value opportunities and assess standalone and portfolio-level risk.
• Conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of power, gas, and carbon markets to inform pricing and deal structuring.
• Developing and enhancing pricing and valuation models, with a focus on continuous improvement of modelling techniques and processes.
• Collaborating continuously with Origination and Trading teams on the pricing of live deals.
• Routinely presenting pricing and deal structures to Origination and Senior Management teams.
