Job summary

The successful candidate will own system design, optimize for performance and power, and mentor engineers to advance embedded development practices within a leading semiconductor organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of software architecture experience with hardware/software co-design.
• Experience in semiconductor industry or related fields (FPGA/SoC/ASIC).
• Strong C/C++, Python, and embedded programming background.
• Experience with RTOS, device drivers, and real-time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware/software co-design for embedded systems.
• Architect and oversee software for embedded platforms and OS interactions.
• Drive system-level requirements with hardware teams.
• Guide performance, power, and reliability optimizations.
• Present architectures and strategies to leadership.
• Mentor software teams and promote best practices.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and methodologies for co-design.
