You will mentor engineers, ensure security and reliability, and work with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable architectures.

The role demands deep experience across the full software lifecycle, strong communication, and hands‑on design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in the full lifecycle of software development.
• 10+ years architecting and designing complex embedded software systems.
• Ability to read and understand hardware schematics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Agile teams using Git branching and merging.
• Experience designing signal processing chains and understanding performance/latency trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements for complex systems to manage and monitor power in datacenters.
• Focus on 'Big Picture' and long-term viability to create robust, extensible architectures.
• Choose platforms, frameworks and tools that fit the system requirements.
• Architect high performance real-time embedded systems balancing ideal engineering with real-world constraints.
• Perform trade-offs between simplicity vs scalability, cost vs speed of delivery, monolith vs microservices.
• Create documentation to support software architecture with diagrams and data flows.
• Communicate architecture rationale to team members and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in software development processes including AI approaches.
• Mentor team members from junior to senior and staff level.
