Title: Senior Electronics Engineer

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join a highly technical engineering team in Limerick.
This is a senior individual contributor role suited to an engineer who enjoys being close to the hardware and wants genuine ownership of complex electronics projects from design and development through to validation, debugging and delivery.
You will have the opportunity to work across both new product development and sustaining engineering, collaborating closely with embedded software and firmware teams to develop, troubleshoot and improve sophisticated electronic products.
As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will take ownership of key hardware engineering activities and play a hands-on role throughout the product lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
Experience working within a regulated product environment would be advantageous.
We're particularly interested in engineers who can talk in detail about the hardware they have personally designed, tested, debugged and delivered.
You will be someone who enjoys getting into the detail - putting a board on the bench, investigating why something isn't working, identifying the root cause and implementing a robust solution.
This is not a people-management position. It is an opportunity for a highly capable engineer to remain technically hands-on while taking significant ownership of challenging engineering projects.
The role offers strong long-term career development, including the potential to progress toward a Staff Engineer position. However, the immediate priority is finding an experienced engineer who can make a meaningful technical contribution from day one and take ownership of complex hardware challenges.
