Job summary

Uisce Éireann in Dublin is seeking a Water/Wastewater Treatment Maintenance Senior Operative (Electrical) to deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the Dublin region. The role requires out-of-hours work and overtime.

You will work with pumps, motors, and control systems, supporting third-party contracts while maintaining a strong health & safety focus. A QQI Level 6 in Electrical and a valid Irish driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate or equivalent in Electrical.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Strong health & safety culture and ability to work in noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical maintenance on water/wastewater treatment assets.
• Perform electrical tasks: cleaning, servicing, testing, and component replacement.
• Fault finding, motor maintenance, VSDs, instrumentation, and calibration.
• Record data and complete work orders; ensure safety and compliance.
• Cooperate with third-party contractors and uphold H&S requirements.
