Murphy Water are hiring an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to support the maintenance and operation of Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities across Ireland. This role leads electrical maintenance across multiple sites and oversees technicians and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

You will diagnose faults on PLCs, instrumentation, and distribution systems, coordinate with operations and engineering teams, and drive improvements while maintaining thorough

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising electrical maintenance within a process, utilities, or industrial environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities on electrical and control systems.
• Experience managing maintenance teams and contractors.
• Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and electrical distribution systems.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
• Full clean Driver's Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical maintenance activities across water and wastewater facilities.
• Lead and coordinate electrical maintenance technicians and subcontractors safely and efficiently.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventative and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Diagnose and resolve faults on electrical distribution systems, motors, MCCs, PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Ensure maintenance work aligns with client requirements, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor plant performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage maintenance documentation, reports, permits, and asset records.
• Coordinate with operations, mechanical, and engineering teams to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Support commissioning and handover activities on new and upgraded installations.
