Job summary
Mott MacDonald’s Water Utilities Division in Ireland is seeking Senior Electrical & Control Engineers to join our multidisciplinary team. You will design electrical power distribution (LV/HV), control systems, SCADA, and support projects from feasibility through handover while mentoring colleagues and ensuring compliance with current legislation.
You will work with clients like Uisce Éireann on diverse projects across water treatment, distribution, wastewater, and desalination, with a hybrid
Qualifications
- Essential: HND or higher in electrical, electronic or control engineering or related discipline.
- Essential: Chartered status with the Institution of Engineering and Technology or equivalent.
- Essential: Experience in electrical and/or control engineering design/consultancy.
- Essential: Good verbal and written English communication.
- Essential: Understanding of health, safety and environmental issues.
Responsibilities
- Undertake electrical & control tasks including LV/HV distribution, control system design, and SCADA.
- Develop plant layouts, wiring, and instrumentation selection.
- Write system control strategies and perform factory/site acceptance tests.
- Provide mentoring and technical direction to projects and engineers.
