Job summary

Synergy Recruitment Partners is seeking a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee planned maintenance, coordinate with the maintenance planner and team, and manage HV switching activities in a mission-critical environment.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead HV switching, drive maintenance via CMMS, and mentor on-site technicians, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating with third‑party vendors.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrical Tradesperson with HV training.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering desirable.
• Experience coordinating HV switching and sub-contractors.
• Experience with CMMS/SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with LOTO and permit-to-work processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV switching operations and develop SOPs/LOTO controls.
• Coordinate outages and planned maintenance via CMMS.
• Oversee third-party contractors and project budgets.
• Enforce safety, process safety and regulatory compliance.
