Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd in Dundalk is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator for data centre projects. You will assist in preparing accurate costings for electrical works, develop detailed take-offs, and liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations.

You will work closely with contract managers and the wider commercial team to ensure a seamless link from costing through to design, installation and project completion. The role includes a weekly presence in Belfast (1 day).

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender and enquiry review packs to support bid decisions.
• Review schematics, designs and 3D drawings for accurate costs.
• Complete electrical material and labour take-offs for projects.
• Source and validate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Maintain cost data and benchmarking tools for bids.
• Analyse labour requirements with the commercial team.
• Attend site and internal meetings and prepare handover packs.
