Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd in Dundalk, Co. Louth, is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to support our data centre projects.

You will prepare tender and enquiry packs, review schematics and 3D drawings, and generate accurate electrical costings for complex turnkey installations. Based at our Dundalk office with one day a week at Belfast, you will liaise with suppliers, contract managers and the wider commercial team to ensure costs are robust from initial costing through to delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing tender and enquiry packs for electrical projects.
• Ability to review schematics and 3D drawings to develop accurate project costs.
• Strong cost-control mindset with attention to value and risk.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender and enquiry review packs to support bid decisions.
• Take-offs for electrical material and labour; develop robust project costs.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and the commercial team to validate quotations.
• Provide handover packs to enable smooth transition to delivery.
