Job summary

Dunnes Stores in Dublin is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead to own the electrical infrastructure across its multi-site estate. The role blends planning, governance, and hands-on delivery, with regular site visits to ensure safety, compliance and reliability.

You will coordinate CAPEX, manage contractors, and provide technical advice to Store Development and operations, while balancing budgets, timelines and risk to deliver value across Ireland, the UK and Spain.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience in delivering electrical projects and managing assets in multi-site environments.
• Ability to manage consultants, budgets and communicate risk clearly.
• Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail; full driving licence and travel flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Own technical direction and performance of electrical infrastructure and distribution systems.
• Lead safety and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Develop multi-year CAPEX plans and manage projects end-to-end.
• Shape maintenance programs, monitor service quality and value.
• Provide technical governance and collaborate across Store Development and operations.
