Job summary

EDC based in Dublin seeks an experienced Electrical Design Lead to drive and mentor engineers, delivering comprehensive electrical design packages from concept through construction. You will lead multiple projects, ensure quality and programme adherence, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree level in Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years Building Services Consultancy Design experience.
• Proven experience delivering detailed designs through the full design cycle.
• Chartership desirable.
• Thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical application of electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead change and mentor engineers within the team.
• Lead and manage full Electrical Design on projects of all sizes.
• Deliver Electrical Engineering design packages across all project stages.
• Undertake Electrical design work from concept through construction.
• Deliver defined engineering packages, ensuring quality, programme adherence, and coordination.
• Coordinate design activities within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Attend design meetings, workshops, and site visits.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders on technical matters.
