Job summary

Jacobs in Ireland is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer to support a major semiconductor manufacturing project. You will oversee electrical design and construction activities, working with the design team to ensure critical electrical systems meet the project requirements.

Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, and 15+ years of industrial electrical design experience with NFPA 70 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering design of industrial electrical systems.
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
• Minimum 5 years of field experience supporting construction activities.
• Proficient in English with the ability to communicate at a technical level, both written and verbal.

Bring your electrical engineering expertise to a team that is powering the next generation of advanced manufacturing. In this role you will support a major semiconductor manufacturing project, working alongside the design team to develop critical electrical systems that form the backbone of client operations.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities and verify that electrical installations match the design intent.
