Job summary

HRM Search Partners is seeking an experienced EHS Lead to oversee Environment, Health and Safety across two pharmaceutical manufacturing sites in Ireland. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery of EHS programmes, risk management and continuous improvement.

Candidates will have a minimum of 10 years' EHS experience in API or chemical environments, strong knowledge of Irish EHS legislation and proven leadership within a complex, matrixed organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of EHS experience in API or chemical manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Irish EHS legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in Seveso and/or IPPC/IEL-regulated environments is a plus.
• Proven process safety expertise with hazard analyses (HAZOP, What-If).
• Leadership experience in a complex, matrixed global organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS strategy and operations across two regulated pharmaceutical sites.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Irish and global standards.
• Develop and maintain the EHS Management System and training.
• Oversee risk management, audit planning and remediation activity.
• Embed EHS into operational decision-making with site leadership.
