Job summary
Design Build Search is seeking an experienced Environment, Health & Safety Advisor for a strategic pre-construction leadership role in Kildare. You will guide safety, EHS and sustainability across pharmaceutical, logistics, industrial and data centre developments, ensuring compliant, safe project solutions from design through to delivery.
Reporting to the head of operations, you will work with pre-construction managers, design teams and clients to embed EHS considerations in bid submissions,
Qualifications
- Degree in Health & Safety or related field.
- NEBOSH Diploma or Level 8/9 equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in construction/industrial project environments.
- Experience supporting large-scale construction projects during pre-construction and planning phases.
- Strong knowledge of international health and safety legislation and standards.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide EHS leadership during the pre-construction phase of major projects.
- Integrate health, safety and environmental considerations into project planning and design.
- Develop project-specific EHS strategies and plans across jurisdictions.
- Advise on design reviews, tender evaluations and risk assessments.
- Engage with clients and supply chain to embed best practice throughout the lifecycle.
