Job summary

REALTIME recruitment seeks an experienced Data Architect to join our enterprise data team on a day-rate contract in a regulated financial services environment. You will shape the EDW design and evolution, collaborating with stakeholders, engineers, and governance bodies to deliver scalable, governed data architectures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in Data Architecture or equivalent leadership.
• Strong Teradata on-premises experience.
• Advanced SQL with data analysis and validation.
• Experience with financial services data models and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own and support the architecture and design of Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions.
• Analyse source systems, data flows, business requirements, and downstream consumption needs.
• Present architecture proposals to Architecture Boards and governance forums.
• Embed data governance and regulatory compliance into solution designs.
