Job summary

McKeon Group in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Programmer to lead the programme development across multiple projects. You will drive planning, coordination and reporting from tender through handover, ensuring delivery certainty and client satisfaction.

The role requires a proven track record in the Irish construction sector, digital planning tools, and the leadership to guide teams through BIM workflows and lean scheduling.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in construction programming; 5+ years in Ireland on live projects.
• Experience delivering complex multi-phase programmes in healthcare, education or commercial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of procurement frameworks (Public Works, RIAI, NEC).
• Proficiency in MS Project, Asta Powerproject and Excel; experience with Procore, BIM 360.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and report on construction programmes using MS Project and Asta Powerproject.
• Lead planning workshops and risk forecasting sessions.
• Update programmes with site inputs and digital platforms like Procore and BIM 360.
• Analyze deviations and support recovery strategies with site leadership.
• Guide integration of design, procurement, installation and handover milestones.
