Jobgether in Ireland is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own sandbox environments, ensuring security, scalability and cost efficiency. You will design automated provisioning, access management, and policy workflows while collaborating with Product, Support and Engineering to deliver reliable customer experiences.

You will implement IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation, script automation with Python/Bash/Ansible, and build dashboards to monitor usage and cost.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of experience as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer or in Product Operations within SaaS environments.
• Hands-on experience managing sandbox environments for external customers.
• Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency with Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
• Experience automating with Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• Experience designing resource-tagging strategies, IAM policies, and automated user-access workflows.
• Good understanding of SaaS subscription models, billing mechanisms, and service-tier management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with professional English proficiency.
• Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and environment security best practices is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement automated policies governing access to sandbox environments, including timed evictions and automatic teardown.
• Automate provisioning, assignment, and decommissioning of sandbox environments.
• Develop and maintain a resource-tagging strategy for sandboxes and cloud resources.
• Build automation and tooling for dynamic upgrades/downgrades of customer subscription tiers.
• Create dashboards, monitoring systems, and alerts for sandbox usage and quota breaches.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, and Engineering to troubleshoot and integrate new features into DevOps workflows.
