Jobgether is partnering with a client in Ireland to hire a Senior Security Engineer focused on cloud security, automation, and compliance across AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub environments. You will automate evidence collection, access reviews, and security controls while leading major certification efforts.

The role emphasizes threat detection, incident response, and building an engineering-driven security programme in a fast-growing international tech setting.

Formación

• At least 5 years of professional security engineering experience with AWS.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub and WAF.
• Hands-on Terraform, Kubernetes and GitHub Actions experience.
• Python or similar language for automating evidence collection and workflows.
• Experience leading ISO 27001, SOC 2 certification programmes or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Design automated evidence collection pipelines across AWS, GitHub, CI/CD and identity tools.
• Automate access reviews and strengthen identity governance for employees and workloads.
• Identify, remediate IAM weaknesses and enforce short-lived, scoped identities.
• Develop Terraform and CI/CD security controls and standardized baselines.
• Lead security certification programmes (ISO 27001, ISO 42001, SOC 2, PCI DSS).
• Triage incidents, investigate alerts from GuardDuty, WAF, CloudTrail, and Kubernetes.
• Produce auditable security documentation and coordinate with external auditors.
