Job summary

Black & White Engineering is seeking a Design Manager in Dublin, operating with hybrid working. You will lead multidisciplinary design activities, develop design programmes and drive interfaces across major engineering projects in data centre and infrastructure sectors.

You will coordinate stakeholders, manage risks, and ensure quality and programme commitments while fostering collaboration and professional growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design activities within engineering or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, design coordination and interface management.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and programme commitments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and collaborate at all levels.
• Experience identifying and managing design risks, issues and project dependencies.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving successful project outcomes.

This is an opportunity to play a central role in the successful delivery of major engineering projects, coordinating stakeholders, managing interfaces and driving design excellence from concept through to completion.

As a Design Manager at Black & White Engineering, you will work across technically challenging projects within the data centre and wider infrastructure sectors. You will be responsible for ensuring design activities are aligned with programme requirements, client expectations and quality standards, while fostering collaboration between engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.

This role offers significant exposure to high-profile projects and the opportunity to influence how design is managed and delivered across the business.
