Job summary

CareerWise Recruitment is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to drive the 3D design of automated manufacturing equipment for a multinational Medical Device client in Limerick. The role covers design, prototype testing and development of automated equipment technologies.

You will apply FEA techniques to verify designs, develop Proof of Principle activities to de-risk solutions, and lead project communications with stakeholders and engineering teams across the client and partners.

Qualifications

• Design and prototype testing of automated equipment development.
• Ability to verify designs with FEA techniques (and software).
• Develop POP activities to de-risk solutions.
• Lead communications with stakeholders and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear communications with key stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Ensure customer requirements are met and feedback is incorporated.
• Manage equipment partners and integrators for development of automated manufacturing systems.
• Establish relationships with vendors to optimize product development.
