Job summary

Pelco Group is seeking an experienced Deli Manager for Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, with responsibility for supporting store management and the Fresh Food Operations Manager in executing our fresh food strategy across the business.

You will oversee day-to-day deli operations, coach teams, ensure HACCP compliance and manage stock and waste while upholding high service standards in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in a fresh food department is essential.
• Strong understanding of store financial reports, KPI tracking and traceability.
• Ability to work on own initiative and add value to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Fresh Food Manager in day-to-day operations across stores.
• Support deli teams to deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure HACCP, health and safety compliance in all fresh food areas.
• Manage stock, waste and cost controls effectively.
• Train and coach colleagues to required fresh food standards.
• Support deli operations across varying trading hours and sites.
