Corlann is hiring a Permanent Full-time Team Leader (Senior Supervisor/Instructor Grade) for Nova Services in Waterford. The role involves leading a Day Service team, delivering person-centred supports, and promoting independent living skills and community integration for people with intellectual disability.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant third-level qualification in training/education/social care, 3+ years post-qualification experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Formación

• Must have a relevant third level qualification in training, education or social care.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience with up-to-date knowledge in services for people with intellectual disability.
• Management qualification is essential; relevant management experience desirable.
• High support and challenging behaviour experience essential; ability to manage and support staff.
• Experience with New Directions and EASI framework would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to listen and respond to service users' needs.
• Ability to be innovative, creative, and work on one’s own initiative.
• Hold a full clean current manual driving licence.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism would be advantageous.
• Experience working as part of a team is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a Day Service team in Nova Services, Waterford.
• Proactively lead and motivate the team to deliver supports.
• Facilitate choices and deliver activities under the New Direction Model.
• Ensure day-to-day operations reflect Corlann's ethos and vision.
• Work to meet the needs of people who use services and ensure quality outcomes.
