Job summary

Verve is seeking a Sr Data Scientist (IC4) to lead the design and deployment of large-scale data science systems for yield optimization. You will steer technical excellence across Demand Shaping, Floor and Bid optimization while mentoring teams and driving real-time ML pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data science, strong AdTech expertise, and advanced degrees in quantitative fields. Expect collaboration with Product and Backend teams, scaling impact globally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science or ML.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of large-scale data science systems and models.
• Drive technical excellence across Yield Optimization portfolio (Demand Shaping, Floor & Bid optimization).
• Identify and champion new technologies/methodologies to maintain Verve's edge.
• Plan and execute large-scale initiatives with cross-team collaboration.
• Resolve highly complex problems and design custom solutions.
• Design scalable systems for real-time model serving and data processing.
• Evaluate trade-offs based on long-term business needs and debt considerations.
• Mentor data scientists and engineers across distributed teams.
• Refine tooling and documentation to uplift team competency.
• Partner with Product Management and Backend Engineering for roadmaps.
