Job summary

Verve is seeking an experienced senior backend engineer to design, implement, and optimize high-throughput ad exchange components in a distributed cloud environment. You will own end-to-end system design, code quality, and production readiness while mentoring a growing Dublin-based team.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of backend experience, deep proficiency in Go or Java, and hands-on cloud, container, and CI/CD expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, focused on distributed backend systems.
• Strong expertise in Go or Java, with advanced concurrency, memory management, and performance profiling.
• Proven track record architecting and scaling high-throughput, low-latency apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of core ad exchange components.
• Write optimized, concurrent code with ownership of performance.
• Mentor engineers and set engineering standards for Dublin team.
