Job summary

Deciphex is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to protect sensitive data across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and AWS in a remote-first role based in Dublin or the UK. Qualifications

• 5/6+ years of hands-on security engineering and production ownership.
• DLP or information-protection experience in Google Workspace, including sharing controls and context-aware access.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 data security: Purview, SharePoint sharing and permissions, and Entra ID.
• Strong access-control fundamentals across SaaS and cloud.
• Python scripting and API automation; experience with generative AI tooling.
• Able to investigate data access and movement using audit logs, a SIEM or native tools.
• Ability to collaborate with product, engineering, research, clinical, privacy and information-security colleagues.
• Experience with health or regulated data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• This is a hands-on engineering role in the DTO.
• Own governance, risk and compliance collaboration with Information Security and DPO.
• Support data incidents with the Cybersecurity Engineer and lead data-security related incident work.
• Build and run technical controls across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, and on-premises.
• Design and tune data loss prevention and information-protection controls; set retention and recovery.
• Enforce least privilege, run access reviews, and control and log external sharing.
• Automate administration, investigation and reporting with Python, APIs and generative AI tooling.
