Job summary

Deciphex is seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Engineer to protect sensitive data in a remote UK-based role. You will own data protection controls across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and AWS, and work closely with the DTO team to ensure secure data handling.

You will implement DLP, least-privilege access, and security reviews for tools and data flows, enabling compliant, auditable operations while supporting product and data teams.

Qualifications

5/6+ years of hands-on security engineering with production controls.
Hands-on DLP or information-protection experience in Google Workspace.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 data security and Purview/SharePoint.

Responsibilities

Build and run controls across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and AWS.
Design and tune data loss prevention and information protection settings.
Enforce least privilege and conduct access reviews and logging.
Automate security administration, investigation and reporting with APIs.
