Job summary

Musgrave is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its Data Platforms team in Cork. You will design and deliver scalable data pipelines, champion data quality, and mentor junior engineers in a cloud-first data platform.

The role reports to the Data Engineering Manager and supports hybrid working with some travel to Cork. A strong background in SQL, data modelling, and modern cloud tools (Azure/Databricks) is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering data engineering on cloud data platforms.
• Expert SQL and data transformation techniques.
• Designing scalable, distributed data pipelines.
• Hands-on with cloud tech (Azure, Databricks).
• Knowledge of data modeling and large-scale processing.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data.
• Ability to lead technical delivery and mentor engineers.
• Problem-solving with focus on performance and quality.
