Job summary

EY is actively seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to join our UKI AI & Data practice. You will work across assurance, consulting, tax and transactions to embed data governance and management practices for diverse clients in Ireland and beyond.

You will guide teams, design governance frameworks, and drive data quality across key domains, ensuring compliant and secure data handling while fostering strong client relationships in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in data governance and data management.
• Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica).
• Proven people management and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work in multi-disciplinary teams to transform client data assets.
• Establish enterprise data governance framework with policies and standards.
• Develop data management roadmaps and organisation-wide data capabilities.
• Lead data governance projects ensuring data sanitisation, storage and use.
• Identify new business opportunities using data assets and insights.
• Build and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
