Job summary

The Recruitment Company Australia is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a fast-paced technology team working across data, analytics and emerging AI solutions. This is a 12-month day rate contract offering exposure to modern cloud and AI technologies.

Responsibilities include designing data pipelines, ETL, and production-grade data processing using Python, with AWS cloud exposure and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in software, data engineering or enterprise development.
• Strong commercial experience with Python; Java or C# also considered.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (Oracle/Snowflake) and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reliable data pipelines for large datasets.
• Build ETL solutions from multiple sources.
• Develop scalable Python applications and data processing solutions.
• Work with AWS to support data and analytics workloads.
