Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Data Center Engineer, Telecom Lead, to shape design integration across EMEA. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on product development, rack/tray layouts, and telecom infrastructure in state-of-the-art data centers.

You will review drawings, enforce best practices, and support design reviews across telecom, security, and networking disciplines. Global collaboration and advanced ICT knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in data center infrastructure, telecommunications, or construction industries.
• 5+ years engineering in the telecommunications industry.
• Experience in a data center or mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal telecom engineers and network designers to translate requirements into products and conceptual rack/tray layouts.
• Coordinate with architecture, civil, mechanical, electrical, controls, security on product development and top-level integration.
• Lead internal and external ICT/telecom product and data center design reviews across Telecom, Security, Controls, Networking.
• Review construction level drawings documenting ICT/Telecom scope for program reference.
• Ensure best practices for converged network allocations across mechanical, electrical, and controls products.
