Job summary

Google Ireland is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects. You will plan requirements with internal customers and shepherd projects through the full lifecycle, from scheduling to risk communication, while aligning with executive stakeholders.

In this role, you will manage transport networks, fiber, and co-location capacity for Google's corporate enterprise network, coordinating with carriers, ISPs, and co-location providers to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program or project management.
• 5 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports.
• Experience in network planning, architecture, or design with a technology or telecommunications company.

Responsibilities

• Create multi-year metro or region level network strategies to provide resilient connectivity meeting physical and logical requirements while balancing performance and cost.
• Create and present business cases for long-term investments.
• Communicate and engage with internal teams, including Deploy, Network Engineering, Service Delivery, Production, and Operations.
• Develop relationships and drive delivery with external vendors to engage on strategic initiatives and create an understanding of market conditions for each region.
• Oversee project and change management for projects, make organizational change happen effectively, and ensure lasting benefits of change are achieved.
