Job summary

Google Ireland is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead EMEA network planning within the AI and Infrastructure team. You will coordinate asset and infrastructure planning to meet product-area demand forecasts across the region, working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive scalable, cost-efficient network solutions.

The role requires strong program management, technical network knowledge, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable network requirements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of program management experience.
• Experience in network architecture, design and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMEA network planning activities for asset/infrastructure planning to support product area demand forecasts over time.
• Project manage end-to-end repeatable, transparent and quarterly planning pipelines.
• Analyze, understand and rationalize demand forecasts for all EMEA related flows.
• Translate these demand forecasts into regional capacity plans over time, taking into account market trends and technology changes to ensure the most optimized and cost effective network solution, translating this to asset/infrastructure requirements.
• Own and deliver in-depth technical risk assessments based on various what-if analysis to ensure the best technical solution is planned for across the network.
• Drive EMEA network delivery by communicating with business owners, technical teams, partners, and deployment partners to align capacity requirements, execute cost-effective infrastructure initiatives, and streamline automated delivery processes.
