Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Dublin invites a Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural designs for data centres across the EMEA region, influencing prototypical facilities and guiding cross-functional teams of architects, engineers and designers.

You will be responsible for creating and managing design deliverables, coordinating with internal and external engineers, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and AWS standards while optimizing cost and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Professional Engineer License preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain structural basis of design, prototype designs, and template specifications.
• Lead structural design for data centre projects within the EMEA region; manage external consultants.
• Coordinate with internal/external mechanical, electrical, controls, fire and cabling engineers; track design metrics; ensure on-time deliverables.
