Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Reliability Engineer to own reliability risk identification, assessment and mitigation for datacenter infrastructure. You will work with internal teams and suppliers to drive improvements and ensure high availability across AWS datacenters.

The role requires deep experience in data center design, risk analysis, and system-level reliability modeling, with a focus on electrical/mechanical equipment and cross-functional

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience.
• 6+ years in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers, power generation or oil & gas facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience directly related to the design or construction of data centers.
• Experience with data center mechanical and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively drive reliability risk identification, assessment and mitigation for datacenter infrastructure equipment.
• Root cause analysis of critical equipment failures and drive continuous improvements to improve datacenter availability.
• Work with suppliers to drive risk identification plans and execution.
• Lead vendor auditing and quarterly reviews to improve datacenter availability.
• Develop datacenter system level reliability models and risk analysis.
