Job summary

EirGrid Group is seeking a Senior Cyber Risk Analyst to lead cyber risk management across IT and OT environments. You will coordinate risk activities, maintain the risk register and report to senior stakeholders.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with risk frameworks, and the ability to drive governance across multiple functions. An Irish-based, hybrid work approach is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in cyber risk management, governance or compliance.
• Experience in risk assessment, treatment, register management and remediation reporting.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27005, NIST CSF, CIS Controls.
• Experience supporting audits, evidence gathering and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong analytical, communication, and governance skills.
• Proactive, able to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day oversight and governance of third-party cyber risk processes with stakeholders and MSPs.
• Deliver cyber risk assurance through assessment of first line risks and controls and tracking mitigations.
• Prepare reporting, coordinate evidence for audit and regulatory activity, and develop cyber risk processes and guidance.
• Support ongoing development and implementation of EirGrid’s cyber risk management framework and standards.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, set technical direction and ensure delivery outcomes.
• Collaborate with IT, OT, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit for a practical risk approach.
