Job summary

EirGrid Group is seeking an Offshore Cybersecurity Systems Specialist to drive cybersecurity across offshore asset readiness. The role ensures regulatory compliance, reviews risk assessments, and embeds security by design throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You will work with business, OT, IT, and engineering teams to ensure offshore assets are delivered securely and transitioned into operation with robust governance.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Cybersecurity or related field.
• 10+ years cybersecurity in critical infrastructure or OT environments.
• Knowledge of NIS2, NIST CSF, IEC 62443, ISO 27001 and related standards.
• Experience with risk management and assurance in regulated settings.
• Ability to translate cybersecurity requirements into project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across offshore cybersecurity for asset readiness.
• Support establishment of offshore cybersecurity capabilities and regulatory compliance.
• Review cyber risk assessments and embed security by design in delivery lifecycles.
• Collaborate with OT, IT, engineering and business teams to secure offshore assets.
