Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a hands‑on Cyber Governance & Risk Senior Analyst to transform governance and risk through automation. You will partner with control owners to move from manual to continuous monitoring, build GRC capabilities, and scale the program as Cohesity grows.

The role blends governance foundations with automation, data privacy, and security posture improvement. You will work with a collaborative security team to prove impact, deliver measurable risk reductions, and support ISMS

Qualifications

4+ years in cybersecurity GRC with hands‑on control assessment or monitoring.
Experience building automation in a GRC/security context with concrete examples.
Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF control frameworks.

Responsibilities

Support Security Governance and Cyber Risk programs; maintain policy, standards, KPI/SLA.
Identify opportunities for continuous monitoring and build automation using AI/GRC tooling.
Measure control effectiveness and surface drift with defined thresholds.
Codify what evidence proves control effectiveness and when human review is needed.
Collaborate with control owners to drive remediation and gather trusted evidence.
Update Risk Register entries and assist ISMS risk assessments.
Create reusable monitoring assets for cross‑program use.
