Job summary

Mane Contract Services in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking a Senior CSA Engineer to lead site CSA engineering on a major data centre construction project. You will coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, review drawings and BIM models, and ensure quality, safety and programme adherence.

Working with project managers, design consultants and subcontractors, you will drive technical delivery from design review through handover, mentor junior engineers and manage RFIs and change controls.

Qualifications

• A third-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in site-based CSA engineering within complex construction projects.
• Experience coordinating civil, structural and architectural works from design review through construction and handover.
• Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, BIM coordination and technical documentation.
• Experience managing RFIs, design changes, inspections, quality records and subcontractor interfaces.
• Knowledge of construction safety requirements, statutory regulations and quality assurance processes.
• Good understanding of construction programming, sequencing, risk management and commercial scope control.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead technical activities, mentor junior engineers and work within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based CSA engineering activities, ensuring works meet design, quality, safety and programme requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications and BIM models to ensure constructability and compliance.
• Manage RFIs, technical queries, design changes and coordination between CSA, MEP and other disciplines.
• Oversee quality inspections, ITPs, snagging, defect resolution and project handover documentation.
• Monitor CSA progress, deliverables, procurement interfaces and programme risks.
• Coordinate subcontractors and provide technical input into procurement, variations and value engineering.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements, statutory regulations and project quality standards.
• Maintain technical trackers and provide regular progress updates to project management.
• Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement across the CSA team.

Indicative Salary: €75,000–€90,000 gross per annum, depending on experience

Are you an experienced CSA Engineer looking to take the next step on a major construction project?

We are seeking a technically strong and proactive Senior CSA Engineer to support the delivery of complex construction works on a large-scale engineering project in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced site-based engineer to take ownership of CSA technical delivery, coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces and ensure construction activities meet the highest standards of quality, safety and programme performance.

Working closely with the Project Manager, design consultants, subcontractors and wider engineering teams, you will play a key role in resolving technical challenges and driving successful project delivery from design review through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead site-based CSA engineering activities, ensuring works meet design, quality, safety and programme requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications and BIM models to ensure constructability and compliance.
• Manage RFIs, technical queries, design changes and coordination between CSA, MEP and other disciplines.
