Job summary

Traffit is seeking a Senior CSA Engineer in Dublin to lead site-based engineering coordination for a major data centre project. You will act as the key CSA technical contact among the project team, design consultants, subcontractors and the client.

You will review drawings, specifications and BIM models, ensure designs are buildable, and manage interfaces with MEP, BIM, logistics and temporary works. Strong communication and safety focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural or Construction Engineering.
• Proven CSA engineering experience on major construction projects.
• Experience in data centres or other mission-critical environments is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specifications, quality plans and ITPs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based CSA engineering and technical coordination.
• Review drawings, specifications, calculations and BIM models.
• Ensure designs are buildable and aligned with actual site conditions.
• Coordinate CSA interfaces with MEP, BIM, logistics and temporary works.
• Manage RFIs, technical queries, design deviations and site constraints.
• Support the preparation and review of CSA scopes and technical submissions.
• Review subcontractor proposals for compliance with project requirements.
• Implement CSA Quality Plans, ITPs and inspection requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, walkdowns, snagging and defect close-out.
• Ensure accurate redlines, as-built records and handover documentation.
• Track design deliverables, technical constraints and programme risks.
• Support safe-by-design reviews, RAMS reviews and temporary-works coordination.
• Provide technical input into variations, project changes and commercial discussions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote consistent engineering standards.

We are seeking a Senior CSA Engineer to lead the technical coordination and quality delivery of Civil, Structural and Architectural works on a major data centre project in Dublin.

This is a site-based position for an experienced engineer who can resolve technical issues, coordinate multiple disciplines and ensure that CSA works are delivered safely, correctly and in accordance with the project programme.

The Role

You will act as a key CSA technical contact between the project team, design consultants, subcontractors and the client.

Your involvement will cover design review, construction support, inspections, quality assurance, interface coordination, snagging and final handover.

What We’re Looking For

• A relevant degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural or Construction Engineering.
• Proven CSA engineering experience on major construction projects.
• Experience in data centres, pharmaceuticals, industrial facilities or other mission-critical environments is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, quality plans and ITPs.
• Experience coordinating design consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Knowledge of RFIs, technical submittals, inspections, snagging and handover processes.
• Strong awareness of construction safety and quality requirements.
• Ability to identify technical risks and drive practical solutions.
• Excellent communication, organisation and record-keeping skills.
• Confidence working independently within a fast-moving site environment.
