Job summary

Bank of America in Dublin is seeking a Credit Risk Approver for European Corporates to analyse credit proposals and proactively manage risk across a diverse portfolio. The role focuses on credit and market risk, adherence to risk policies, and reporting including TOH and LOB related disclosures.

You will review exposures, assess products (loans, facilities, FX, derivatives) and provide input to ensure transactions stay within approved risk limits.

Qualifications

• Experience managing credit risk for European corporate portfolios.
• Experience exercising delegated credit approval authority.
• Strong knowledge of lending and derivative documentation (facility agreements, ISDA/CSA, GMRA, GMSLA).

Responsibilities

• Review credit proposals and new transactions and approve exposures and limits within risk parameters.
• Assess a broad range of products including loans, revolver facilities, FX, derivatives, commodities, repos and global payment facilities.
• Provide timely feedback to Enterprise Credit on new client and transaction screenings to shape outcomes within risk limits.
