Linesight is recruiting a Senior Cost Manager for mechanical, electrical and plumbing work in Dublin. The role is permanent and full-time, with responsibilities spanning cost reporting, budgeting, and value engineering across complex MEP projects.

Candidates should have extensive cost management experience in consultancy or with an MEP contractor, with the ability to read services drawings and schematics. Chartered status is sought, or progress toward it, to support senior project leadership.

Linesight is recruiting a Senior Cost Manager for mechanical, electrical and plumbing work in Dublin, permanent and full time, against requisition 2026-6401 with one opening.

The holder analyses cost reports and reviews them regularly with senior management, prepares budgets with detailed cost modelling and benchmarking analysis, and manages project cost against budget through the life of the project, including cost review, value engineering and cost saving work intended to increase client value. Financial close out is monitored on all projects, including settlement of all vendors.

The post also carries oversight of and guidance on commercial change management and change evaluation, oversight of requests for proposal through to procurement of project services and products, the lead on commercial risk management, and review of portfolio cash flow and earned value analytics.

Linesight asks for extensive cost management experience, ideally gained in consultancy or with an MEP contractor on large and complex projects, an understanding of MEP systems with the ability to read services drawings and schematics, and a degree or comparable qualification in construction, quantity surveying, mechanical or electrical engineering. Chartered RICS status is sought, or progress towards it.
